Pukaha Wild Challenge
July 27, 2015 at 10:00 PM
It’s a 10km (more or less) run through restored native bush – climbing up and over Bruce Hill at 710m and then through farmland and along a gravel road to the bike transition area. Then a quick 23km road race through Mauriceville back to the Pukaha Mount Bruce Wildlife Centre.
People can enter individually or in teams or they can do the run/walk only portion. Each entrant also gets a family pass for the day so that their supporters can enjoy a day out while they wait for the competitors to finish – and the competitors can enjoy the rest of their day at Pukaha if they so wish.
We’re also holding a kids run event too which is for 8-16 year olds and its around our 5km visitor loop track – just $25 per child including a t-shirt
Entries are open now at https://eventplus.co.nz/register?eporg=BWC15 with more information including race info at www.pukaha.org.nz/wildchallenge
