Cliff Hrstich was club member and a book maker. He liked to challenge members to estimate their Rotorua Marathon finishing time, and had an uncanny ability to often better predict their performance than they could! This trophy honors Cliff, who died in 2006.

The day started cool with a temperature of 7 degrees at 6:25am, along with good cloud cover for the first half of the event, made for great conditions. However after the mid-way point, the day started to heat up to a warm 20oC, but a light breeze on the home ward leg made for ideal conditions.

Mel Tuineau clocks 100 marathons

Mel Tuineau completed her 100th marathon at the Aurora Marathon on the 2nd of June 2013.  A great acheivement.  Well done Mel!
